I spent several hours today digging out dandilion roots from my flower beds. I had my pitch fork which I would stab underneath the soil and leverage back and forth in an attempt to get the entire tap root out without breaking it off. I am having to rehab my garden after long neglect. I will probably just let parts of it go back to grass, but remove as many of the plants as I can salvage. If I was going to stay here I would fight to bring it all back but since I am selling out, it is an expenditure of time and energy I can't afford.

A blog for womens voices to speak of what is important to them.
